About Our Shul
About the Shul
We are a Modern Orthodox congregation following the Young Israel model. We are situated in an area highly populated by Anglo Saxon olim, (as explained in the Shul History) with the result that shiurim, publications, lectures and announcements are made also in English.
The main shul on the first floor as well as the Beit Medrash on the entrance level are bright, air conditioned sanctums with a very pleasant ambience. We hold daily services in our Bet Midrash on the ground floor and visitors are always welcome.
We host many lectures, shiurim and regular classes many led by our senior rabbi, Rabbi Wein, and Rabbi Kenigsberg , and on occasion by visiting Rabbonim. Regular kiddushim are held every Shabbat Mevarchim and on other notable occasions during the year. Our active Women’s League arrange our annual Purim party and Yom Yerusahalyim celebration which is a festive luncheon, with entertainment and a speaker of note.
We are an active and interesting community and we look forward to welcoming you either on your next visit or better still, on making aliya to our area.
